West Country School Swimming Sports
2008
Three weeks ago the kids of Faith Academy went to a swimming competition with the rest of the West Country Schools in Wanganui.
We did very well but Westmere came first. I thought that we did very well to come SECOND!
When the fastest four relay came all of us were really nervous we were in the lead until freestyle. A Westmere guy passed us and won only just! It was disappointing but it was really cool to see how good our school did. It was nerve breaking at times.
The rest was cool we even had our own cheerleading club- Mrs McGregor led us all the way till we cheered out all the other schools.
