Faith Academy School Cross-Country
On the 15th of August 2006 Faith Academy held their annual school cross country. We lined up and the juniors moved over to their starting line. The hooter went off and all the little people started sprinting as fast as their little legs would let them go. They had to run around the block, but as for the sprinting, well at the end of the race, well let's say they didn't have as much energy as they did at the start! Then the middle school moved onto the starting line. The hooter went off and all the people started running, this time only some of them were running as fast as possible. At the end of the race, every one was still running at a fairly moderate pace. Then the seniors moved to their starting line. They had a long race to run. They started at a moderate pace and finised a good race.

Physical Education
In Physical Education we have the usual PE programme and some special features! We have swimming all year round!. Students are bussed to the Splash Centre down the road. That means we have tepid water even in winter! We often have visiting sports coaches to introduce students to new sports. The golf session was great, students enjoyed the introduction and some went on to join the local club.
In Term 3 we have a school wide gymnastics programme culminating in a trip to the Boys and Girls Gym Club to practise the skills we've learnt. It's also our term for folk dancing- great time for learning co-ordination. And having fun!
Jump Rope
Every second year we participate in the Jump Rope programme. We get to learn new skills get fit and raise some money for the Heart Foundation. We also participate in the "Push Play" day- that's when the whole country starts movin'and we all try to walk to school and look forward to a session of Aerobics Especially for the Seniors
Every year the Seniors (Form 1's and 2's) go sailing at Pauri Lake with the local sailing club!
