Principal's Message

Welcome to Faith Academy

Faith Academy is a supportive learning community, where God's word underpins all programmes. We work co-operatively with parents and churches to "train up a child in the way they should go" so that students will become responsible, effective and caring ambassadors for Christ in the wider community.

God calls each one of us to do whatever we are doing excellently as though we were doing it for him not ourselves. Students are challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential in all areas spiritually, academically, socially and physically. Faith Academy is a caring community where God given gifts and talents are celebrated and nurtured.

Faith Academy was established by Faith City Church in 1979 with a roll of 25 students, it now has six classes with 140 students ranging from new entrants to year eight (form 2). Mr. Allan Allot who was the first teacher at Faith Academy and Principal for 20 years retired in June 2007.

As the new Principal I am looking forward to continuing to work with the school community to provide a warm, supportive environment where everyone can
"Learn, Grow and Serve the Lord."

Please enjoy our website and feel free to contact the school for further details.

Regards
Principal Ruth McLeay
